Started in 1972 by Alan R. Shumway, Shumway Roofing has been working and servicing the Amherst area for over forty years.  Working with his sons, Rick and Cory, as partners, Alan has been able to forge the business into a complete family run company.

The owners have collectively 75 years of experience in the roofing and construction field.  They have built homes, additions, decks and remodeled interiors.  They have repaired structural damage to a home caused by weather, rot, etc.; rebuilt and repointed chimneys and any other small or large work required before a new roof was installed.  They will also evaluate your attic for proper ventilation.

All work is performed by the owners to insure that the customer gets the highest quality of workmanship possible.The owners are on the premises promptly and will stay in complete contact with the homeowner as the work progresses.  They are highly considerate of your landscaping and most prized possession... your home.
